VERDE PLANT-BASED CAFÉ & RESTO

Verde Plant-Based Café & Resto is an interior design for a plant-based café and restaurant in El Nido, Palawan. The two-level space spans a ground floor dining and bar area with a mezzanine above, connected by a spiral staircase. The design draws from the owner's personal plant collection, integrating her curated specimens as the defining architectural gesture of the project. A warm timber slat ceiling runs throughout, contrasted against dark concrete walls and polished tile floors. The central bar counter with timber cladding and stone surface anchors the ground floor, while large-format glazing brings the surrounding tropical landscape into the dining space. The living collection becomes the interior itself; making the owner's passion for plants the primary spatial and material identity of the project.
